See how airslide fabric works
A sectioned line drawing of 3 bolted 3 m sections on a slope. Follow the air up through the fabric, and read the layer stack in detail B (bed → fabric → air chamber → base).
Slope sets how fast the bed travels — the demo speed is linked to it: now 7°, speed ×1 (slowest ×0.28, fastest ×1.9). These angles are demo settings: not an installation requirement, and not a start-up angle.

- Airslide Fabric (working surface · flagship product)
- Material bed (fluidised)
- Low-pressure air / air film
- Steel casing, flanges, supports
Air is fed at 3 points only — one inlet per section (demo values)
3 sections × 3 m · fabric drawn at 75 mm (really 4–8 mm)
Layer order (top down): material bed → Airslide fabric → air chamber → base.
3 sections × 3 m = 9 m — only three inlets in total.
The fabric spreads those three points across the whole surface.
Without it, air only bursts up above each inlet.
- 1Air into the chamberLow-pressure air is fed into the lower chamber at each section.
- 2Through the fabricAir seeps evenly across the fabric's whole working surface.
- 3Bed fluidisesThe bed lifts as a whole — friction drops and it starts to move.
- 4Out to the dischargeIt travels down the slope and leaves at the tail end.
